The 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 10:00 am in the Allendale-Fairfax Middle-High School Gym.
See the practice times below:
Practice will be on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, during 4th and 5th periods.
ATTIRE:
Boys—Long/short sleeve white dress shirt, black tie, black dress pants and black dress shoes. No sneakers or jeans.
Girls—White blouses and black bottoms, (skirt or slacks). Skirts may not be any shorter than 2 inches above the knee. No sneakers or jeans.
**If you need help with the attire, please contact the school as soon as possible**
Middle School Parents,
This is a reminder that we will have the final Spring IReady testing Wednesday, June 2nd and Thursday June 3rd. Please encourage your scholar to do their best as iReady scores and other factors will be used to determine if a student must attend Summer School.
Testing will begin promptly at 8:30 am each day and end by 11:30 am. Students who do not meet growth targets will have to retest before the last day of school.

Here's a Summer Enrichment option for students. The cost is FREE!
The Summer Enrichment Program will apply only to students who will be in the 6th – 12th grade in the 2021-2022 school year.
The program will be held from July 19- 30, 2021 at the Bethlehem Baptist Union Building, located at 5556 Carolina Highway, Denmark, SC, from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
Student/Parent should complete the Registration Form and email to lenbrooker@centurylink.net or mail to address below by May 15, 2021.
Student/Parent must have a teacher of the student complete the Teacher Evaluation and Recommendation Form and mail it to the address below by June 15, 2021.

Though the water tower in Allendale may have been affected this morning, Allendale County School District continues to have water in all of our schools. According to all principals, we never lost water pressure.
In light of the executive order issued by Governor McMaster regarding face masks, the scholars in Allendale County School District will continue to wear face mask until the end of the school year.

This Summer students may attend Summer School to recover learning loss experienced due to the Global Pandemic that has affected many students in the state and across the world. Our goal is to prepare each student for the next grade level as much as we can. Summer school will also be for students in danger of not being promoted to the next grade. Friday, May 7th we are going on a school-wide field trip to USC Salkahatchie to celebrate the launch of broadband internet service in Allendale County. We will depart campus at 11:50 am and return around 2:30 pm. There will be no virtual classes after 10:30 am. Any students attending school on Friday who have not turned in a permission slip, must be picked up by 11:00 am. Expect a delay in bus riders getting home Friday. This is friendly reminder about on campus state testing, Tuesday, May 4, 2021. State law requires students to test in certain courses and grade levels. All testing must be completed in-person. No virtual testing is available. Breakfast will be served from 8:00 a.m - 8:30 a.m. Testing will start promptly at 9:00 a.m.
Other Reminders:
1. Fully charge iPads each night.
2. School uniforms are required. If students do not have a uniform, please dress appropriately otherwise (no ripped jeans, short shorts, no slides, tank tops, white t-shirts, hats, or head wraps).
3. Bring bottled water
4. Students should prepare to stay at school until 3:45 p.m. Testing will be completed by 12:45 pm.
