Gentle reminder that next week Allendale-Fairfax Middle High School will be hosting "Grits for Grandparents" on September 5th. The event will begin at 8:30 AM in the AFMHS Cafeteria, and we welcome all grandparents of our scholars to come out and be celebrated. We are proud to bring together families to reminisce and connect over a delicious meal. We will serve a traditional style breakfast including eggs, grits, bacon, and sausage and we would love to have you.

Grandparents, we want to celebrate you on September 5th at 8:30 AM in the AFMHS cafeteria. Join us for a complimentary breakfast as we recognize your role in shaping generations. We will be treating you to eggs, grits, sausage, and bacon as you bond with your student. We hope you leave with a full stomach and heart.

Please join us for our first Board/Community Meeting on August 25th at 6:00 PM. This month we will be recognizing our staff and schools for their accomplishments! We will also give updates on our various departments and capital projects. We hope to see a packed house full of community support and engagement, so come on out!

We are looking to hire someone who is resourceful and innovative to be the Media Specialist at our Middle/High School. This job requires a Bachelor's Degree in Library Science, Reading, English (or similar) and at least 1 year of experience. What a roaring good day we had at AFMS! Our scholars are off to a fantastic start as they continue learning and practicing our classroom routines and expectations for success.

Today, your child reviewed the District Dress Code policy as part of our efforts to help every student show up confident, focused, and ready to learn. A copy of our school’s dress code was sent home in their folder or bookbag, be sure to check it out together!

Get ready to level up on July 26, 2025 at our Annual Back to School Bash! This year we are making the Allendale Comeback, and we are ready for the games to begin! We invite members of the community to come out to the Tiger Stadium from 9-11 AM to receive free school supplies for their registered students. We will also have free games, food, and music to enjoy. Please come out to join the fun and get ready for next school year!

This is a friendly reminder that Summer School will begin on Monday, June 9, 2025, and we are excited to welcome back all students who are registered for the program. Start Date: Monday, June 9, 2025 Time: 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM Uniforms are required Please ensure your child arrives on time and dressed in the appropriate uniform each day. Weather permitting, Allendale-Fairfax Middle School will hold Field Day on Thursday, May 29th. Students may dress down for the event; however, all attire must comply with the school clothing guidelines outlined in the Code of Conduct. Water games will be included, so students are encouraged to bring a towel, a water bottle, and a change of clothing. Please note: Swimsuits are not allowed. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase during the event.

Good Afternoon Tiger Family! We want to update you on a few changes that will be in effect for the middle school promotional ceremony scheduled for tonight, Wednesday, May 28th at 6:00PM at the Allendale Fairfax Elementary School gymnasium. 1. Tickets ARE NOT required! Everyone is welcomed to attend. 2. No bags will be allowed in the event. 3. No flowers, balloons or noise making devices will be allowed. 4. We will use metal detectors and scan wands for entry. 5. All guests will enter through the front entrance of the Elementary School. 6. Guest must exit the building immediately after the ceremony. 7. There will be no re-entry once you leave. 8. Doors will close at 5:50PM. No one will be allowed to enter the building after that time. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.
