On the behalf of the Equity and Excellence Program, we would like to invite parents and guardians to attend their Statewide Back to School Parent Leadership Conference on Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. This event will be held at the Brookland Banquet & Conference Center in West Columbia at 1066 Sunset Blvd. The goal is to equip parents with the knowledge and tools they need to be effective partners in their child(ren) education. The conference will cover a range of important topics, including IEPs, 504 plans, healthy living, mental health/stress management, financial literacy, education laws, and more. The tables turned when several of our teachers and administrators became learners for a day. They expanded their knowledge by attending our Summer Institute workshops in English, Science, or Math. The collaboration fostered and knowledge absorbed will be passed on to our students in the classroom this year.

Dear Allendale-Fairfax Family,
As we enter this school year, I want to express to you that my deepest desire is to ensure that each of you have a very successful school year. I am honored and feel privileged to be your principal this school year. For all students returning to Allendale-Fairfax Middle School, welcome back! For those new to Allendale-Fairfax Middle School, I welcome you into a close-knit and prideful family that will take you to the next level in your education. Now it is time to look forward to a wonderful new school year as we are “Anchored in Achievement” at Allendale-Fairfax Middle School!
In preparation for the new school year, we have provided some important “need to know” information.
The First Day of School is Tuesday, August 1st.
Student’s School Day is 7:50am-3:15pm.
Breakfast is 7:30-7:50am.
OPEN HOUSE is Thursday, August 31st 5:00-6:15pm
Please be sure to have your child/children are here on time. Students who arrive after 7:50am must sign-in at the office with a parent.

Please note that there has been a delay in the initial distribution of the P-EBT cards for Summer 2023. The first set of cards is now scheduled to be sent out on September 8, 2023. Kindly anticipate a period of about 15 business days after this date for the cards to be delivered to your mailboxes.
For any address updates, we encourage you to visit the DSS portal by August 10, 2023. You can make necessary changes at: https://benefitsportal.dss.sc.gov/#/pebt/addressverification.
To be eligible for these benefits, students must have been enrolled and present in school for the final 20 days of the 2022-23 academic year. Additionally, they must have been approved for free or reduced meals or attended a CEP school.

Greetings Tiger families and community members,
Please mark your calendars. Allendale-Fairfax Middle School will have "Meet the Principal and Staff Night" on July 27th. 7th and 8th grade are scheduled from 4 pm to 5 pm and 6th grade from 5:15 pm to 6:15 pm in the AFMH gymnasium. Come out and enjoy popsicles, meet the new principal, meet your teachers, and so much more. Hope to see you there!
Join us for our annual Back to School Bash on July 22nd from 9am-11am. Allendale County School District and our community partners will be giving away free school supplies. Registration is required in order to receive free clear backpack. There will also be free refreshments, live music, and bounce houses. We hope to see you there!
Good Evening Middle School Parents/Guardians:
Friday, June 2, 2023 we will host Field Day on campus. For those students who did not pre-pay to dress down this week, the cost to dress down tomorrow is $2.00. The same rules for dress down days still apply. We will provide food, snacks, and drinks free of charge. Students will also have the option to eat school breakfast and lunch.
Monday June 5, 2023 is the last day of school. The last day is a full school day and not an early release day on the academic calendar.
Note: Please return all textbooks, library books, and IPads as soon as possible. Report cards will be held if students have any outstanding fees. Contact the school if you have questions.

Yearbooks are still on sale for $35.00. After Spring Break the cost will $45.00. We only have a limited number of copies. Students may make a down payment to secure their book. Get yours today!
Students may wear green and dress down for St. Patrick's Day. We are asking for a $1.00 donation to support student activities.
We are proud to present our Spring Curriculum Night on Thursday, March 23, 203 5:30 - 7:30. Come here from updates and have some fun in the classrooms. Food will be served.

Come out for a day of family fun and celebration in Allendale! All In Allendale will feature hands-on STEM activities, story corner, giveaways, a live music performance by the Allendale-Fairfax Concert Band and a hot dog lunch while supplies last!
